About Orchard

Orchard is an AI app builder for people with an app idea and no developer: non-technical founders, indie makers and small business owners. You describe the app in plain English. Orchard writes a real, native iOS app in Swift and SwiftUI, shows it to you running in the browser, and gets it onto TestFlight and the App Store. Or choose iPhone + Android and Orchard builds one React Native app for both, which you open on your own phone in seconds through the free Expo Go app.

What you get

• A real native app, not a web wrapper. Compiled Swift and SwiftUI, the same language and frameworks Apple uses, so it can use the camera, AR, LiDAR, body tracking and on-device AI.
• iPhone and Android from one app. The iPhone + Android option covers both kinds of phone, with the real camera, photos, body tracking and AI. Native Swift remains the choice for AR, LiDAR, in-app purchases and the deepest iPhone features.
• Code you own. Every app is a full Xcode project. On a paid plan you can download all of it.
• Your account, your revenue. Apps publish under your own Apple developer account, not ours. Orchard never takes a cut of what your app earns. If Orchard disappeared tomorrow, your published app keeps working and the source stays with you.

So far, more than 500 iPhone apps have been built with Orchard.

Who it is not for

Orchard builds native Swift apps for iPhone and iPad, and iPhone + Android apps in React Native. If you need Apple Watch, Apple TV or Vision Pro apps, home screen widgets, Live Activities or NFC, Orchard isn't the right tool today, and we'd rather tell you before you pay.

How Orchard is run

Orchard is bootstrapped and founder-run. You can build your first app free, and paid plans start at $19 a month. Paid plans are a monthly budget of build tokens. You can cancel anytime from your account and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
